Another busy day on both sites. The teams were mixed up today, with the majority working on the hill site where construction of the wheelchair accessible pathway continued. Only six worked in the city site, continuing the preparation of the wood and erection of the supporting frames for the new extension. Joining Team A today was Lindsay, an American lady living in Budapest who volunteered with Habitat for the day. Site B also had a visitor, Jock the Bounty Hunter, pictured below with Levi, our site supervisor. Of course it's Mr. Jackson, who styled his beard like Levi's to raise funds for Symbiosis Centre.
After work the team went bowling where Aoise Keogan Nooshabadi showed the kids how to do it and Mr. Swift ruled the teacher's alley. There was even time for a few games of pool, air hockey and table football, where Sandoor (the Habitat Co-ordinator) and Catie McGonagle proved (almost) unbeatable. Eleanor Dolphin & Mr. Jones ran them closest, defeating them once before crashing out in the replay.
Tomorrow the team take a well deserved day off work (to rest aching muscles and unwind). We travel to Eger, a city best known for its castle, thermal baths, historic buildings (including the northernmost Turkish minaret), and red and white wines.
